The subject is presented here in such a way that even people with limited time for personal study will be able to master it easily. The programme introduces the structure and language of a balance sheet (and of the associated financial reports) and describes how the information given in the various financial reports can be used to assess the financial position of an enterprise. It also illustrates the structure of the resources of an enterprise and explains the enterprise’s responsibilities to, and relations with, owners and other bodies.
